This month is a long way from finished. Seven public events were on the city's calendar when this page was built on 4 September. November is a busy month in Cape Coral in practice, and the listings for it simply are not up yet.
What is confirmed is the spine of it. The Cape Coral Veterans Day Parade runs on Saturday the 7th along Cape Coral Parkway, and the Turkey Trot 5k runs at Rotary Park on Saturday the 21st. Between them, Connection in the Park at Cultural Park on the 7th and the Community Heroes veteran outreach programme at the South Cape Community Center on the 19th.
November is also when the season properly starts. The weather is at its best, hurricane season closes on the 30th, and the winter population is arriving. If you are visiting Cape Coral to decide whether to move here, November and February are the two months that show it at its best, which is exactly why they are the months a buyer should be most careful about.

- Community Heroes: Veteran Outreach Program, Thursday 19 November, 9am, South Cape Community Center: Part of a series that also runs in September and December.
- Oasis Elementary South Fall Festival, Saturday 14 November, 4pm: A school fall festival, open to the community.

The 7th is the day to be here. The Veterans Day Parade at 11am and Connection in the Park at 2pm are the only two events on that Saturday, and they fit together comfortably.
Hurricane season ends on 30 November. If you are timing a first visit, the back half of this month is when Cape Coral is at its most comfortable and its most crowded.
