What this site collects, which companies see it, how long it lasts, and how to make it go away.

The short version. You can read this whole site without telling us anything. If you fill in a form, we get your name and contact details so a person can follow up — that is the entire point of the form. We do not sell your information and we do not pass it to other agents. Five outside companies are involved in running the site and they are all named below, along with what each one sees. Want your details deleted? Email [email protected] and we will do it.

1. Who we are

This site is operated by C&K Realty, a registered trade name of Charline Vanderbrugghen LLC, a licensed Florida real estate brokerage (Lic. #BK3512348), at 4109 SW 9th Pl, Cape Coral, FL 33914. Stars Vacation Rentals is an affiliated company that manages vacation rentals for owners; where you contact us about renting out a property, your details may be handled by both.

2. What we collect

Only if you choose to give it

Contact form (contact) — first and last name, email, phone if you give it, what you are looking for, and anything you write in the message box.
Home valuation form (sell) — name, contact details, the property address you want valued and what you tell us about it.
Canal Report (canal map) — name and email, to send the full report for the address you looked up.
Home Finder (home finder) — your answers to the questionnaire, plus name, email, phone if you give it, and the city you live in now. The answers go to us with your contact details so the follow-up is about what you actually said.
Live chat — whatever you type into the chat widget, and any name or email you give it.

Collected automatically, by being on the internet

Your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you request. Every website receives this; it is how a page reaches you at all.
The address you type into the canal map is sent to our own lookup service to get the answer for that one property back. We do not attach it to you, and the service holds no account or profile.

What we do not collect

We run no advertising trackers and no advertising cookies, and we are not part of any ad network.
As of the date at the top of this page the site runs no analytics product at all. If we add one it will be a privacy-friendly, cookieless one, and it will be named here first.
We never ask for a Social Security number, a bank account or a card number through this website.

3. Who else sees it

We use a small number of outside companies to run the site. Each one only gets what it needs to do its job. None of them is permitted to sell your information, and none of them is paid by us to profile you. This is the complete list — and it is short on purpose: the typefaces this site uses are served from our own server, so no font company hears from your browser at all.

Beyond that list: property search on this site runs inside a window served by the Royal Palm Coast Realtor® Association MLS. What happens inside that window is governed by their terms, not ours. If we introduce you to a lender, inspector, title company or attorney, we pass on only what you ask us to pass on.

We will also disclose information where the law requires it — a court order, a subpoena, a regulator such as the Florida Real Estate Commission — and where it is needed to complete a transaction you have asked us to work on.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

4. Why we are allowed to hold it

In plain terms: because you asked us to do something. You filled in a form to be contacted, so we contact you. If you are in the UK or the European Union and want the formal version, our lawful bases are your consent (you chose to submit the form), steps taken at your request before entering a contract (the enquiry itself), and our legitimate interests in keeping the site working and free of spam. Where we rely on consent you can withdraw it at any time and we stop.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

C&K Realty sets no cookies of its own. There is no login, no cart and no session to remember. The cookies you may find in your browser after visiting come from two of the companies in section 3:

Tawk.to sets cookies to keep a chat conversation attached to you between pages.
Google reCAPTCHA sets cookies when it loads, which is only once you touch a form.

You can block or clear these in your browser settings at any time. Blocking them does not lock you out: our forms are built so that if reCAPTCHA is blocked — by an ad-blocker, a privacy extension or a slow connection — your message is still sent. We would rather receive an unscored enquiry than silently lose a real one.

6. How long we keep it

Enquiries that go nowhere — we keep the email so we can pick up the conversation later. Ask us to delete it and we will.
Formspree's own copy — on the plan we use, Formspree retains roughly 30 days of submission history; the email in our inbox is the lasting record.
Records that become part of a real estate transaction — Florida law requires a brokerage to preserve transaction records for a set number of years, and we keep those for as long as the law requires, even if you ask us to delete them.
Chat transcripts — held by Tawk.to under their retention settings.

7. Your choices

Write to [email protected] and ask us to:

tell you what we hold about you;
correct anything that is wrong;
delete it, subject to the record-keeping point above;
stop contacting you — no reason needed, and it takes effect immediately.

We do not require an account or a form to make one of these requests, and we will not charge you for it. We aim to answer within 30 days. Residents of the UK and the European Union additionally have the rights to data portability and to object to processing, and may complain to their national data protection authority; residents of US states with privacy statutes have the equivalent rights those statutes give them.

8. Visitors from outside the United States

We are a Florida brokerage and our information is held in the United States. If you are writing to us from Europe, your details cross the Atlantic to get to us — that is inherent in contacting an American company, and by sending the form you are asking us to do exactly that.

One thing we have deliberately closed off: the typefaces on this site are served from our own server, not from Google Fonts or Fontshare. Until August 2026 they were not, which meant your IP address reached those two companies on every page load, before you had done anything at all. It no longer does. Nothing third-party loads on a page you are only reading — the chat widget aside, which is named in section 3 and is there so you can talk to us.

9. Children

This site is aimed at people buying, selling or renting out property. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us something, tell us and we will delete it.

10. Security

The site is served only over HTTPS, form submissions are encrypted in transit, and the address index behind the canal map is held privately — a visitor can look up one property and receives one answer, and the underlying dataset is never sent to a browser. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise; what we can say is that we do not hold payment details or government identifiers on this site at all.

11. Changes to this policy

If we add a service that collects something new, or remove one, we will change this page and move the effective date at the top. Material changes will be flagged on the page for a period rather than made quietly.
