Twenty-five events over thirteen days makes March one of the fuller months of the year, and the weekend of the 13th to the 15th is the densest in it. USA BMX brings three days of state racing to the Strausser complex while the Garden Club runs its March in the Park plant sale, a model aircraft show flies at Seahawk Airfield and the Special Pops fashion show runs at The Westin.
March is also the month of back to back car shows and back to back 5Ks. There is a car show at the Bill Austen Youth Center on the 7th and the B.I.G. Car Show at Rotary Park on the 8th. Walk, Wiggle, Wags & Run starts at the Cape Coral Animal Shelter on the 21st, and the Donut Dash runs at Rotary Park on the 28th.
The month opens the way February did, on the water after dark. The Full Moon Paddle and the Full Moon Walk both run at Four Mile Cove Ecological Preserve on the evening of the 3rd.

- USA BMX Florida State Race, Friday 13 to Sunday 15 March, Strausser BMX Sports Complex: Three days. A practice and clinic day at 9am on the Friday, then double points state races at 7:30am on the Saturday and 7am on the Sunday. The complex shares its site with a public boat ramp.
- Rotary Club Cardboard Boat Regatta, Saturday 21 March, 9am, Seahawk Park: Boats built out of cardboard, raced on the water at 1030 NW 28th Street. Run by the Cape Coral Rotary Club.
- Sounds of Jazz & Blues, Saturday 28 March, 5pm, Coral Oaks Golf Course: The Parks and Recreation music night, with food. The city calls it the premier musical event in Cape Coral.
- Doxie Dash, Saturday 7 March, 10am, Rotary Park: Dachshund races and vendors, with a Tortoise Trot at about 11:30am.
- Special Pops Fashion Show, Saturday 14 March, 10am, The Westin: The 17th annual show from Guardian Angels for Special Populations, at The Westin Resort and Convention Center, 5951 Silver King Blvd.
