April is fifteen events over nine days. It is a quieter month by volume, and it has a clearer theme than any other month of the year: six of the fifteen are about land, water or planting.
The Citywide Cleanup on the 22nd, the free nature seminars at Rotary Park the same day, the Arbor Day tree planting at Crystal Lake Park on the 24th, the Go Native! programme on the 24th, the Earth Day celebration at Four Freedoms Park on the 18th and a rain barrel workshop on the 25th. That is more than a third of the month.
The social side lands on two Saturdays. Brew Fest and the Earth Day celebration both run on the 18th, at Cultural Park and Four Freedoms respectively. Culture Fest and the rain barrel workshop both run on the 25th. If you only came to Cape Coral for two Saturdays in April, those are the two.

- 4th Annual Brew Fest, Saturday 18 April, 1–5pm, Cultural Park: Run by the Cape Coral Museum of History. Sample beers, seltzers and ciders from local and national brewers as much as you like, plus food trucks, vendor booths and music.
- Culture Fest, Saturday 25 April, 11am, Cultural Park: The 4th annual, from Parks and Recreation. Live music, performances and international food, with activities for all ages.
- Citywide Cape Coral Cleanup, Wednesday 22 April, all day: The city's Earth Day clean-up. It is citywide rather than at one park, and the city asks for the community's help rather than running it alone.
- Earth Day Celebration, Saturday 18 April, 2pm, Four Freedoms Park: Local bands and food vendors, outdoors. It shares the day with Brew Fest, which starts an hour earlier across town at Cultural Park.
- Arbor Day Tree Planting, Friday 24 April, 10am, Crystal Lake Park: The city's annual ceremonial planting, at 4307 NW 36th St.
